As the frost paints the windows and the winter air whispers, I find myself reflecting on the warmth that our little circle brings into my life. January, with its serene beauty, gives us many reasons to gather, share, and celebrate the little things that matter.
Happy New Year! It’s 2024. As we usher in this New Year, let us embrace it not just as a change of dates, but as an opportunity for renewal and fresh starts. Each day is a blank canvas, eagerly waiting for us to paint our moments with vibrant colors of joy, hope, and togetherness. Let’s remember that every sunrise is a new chance to dream, every moment an occasion to appreciate, and every day a possibility to create beautiful memories.

1. A Bowl of Comfort - National Soup Month
• In these chilly days, what’s better than a steaming bowl of soup? This month, I urge you to find comfort in the simple joy of cooking and sharing a meal. How about we exchange our favorite soup recipes? I would love to try the flavors that warm your heart.
• A Soup-er Fact: Did you know soup has been a staple in our diet since 6000 BC? Imagine the countless conversations that have happened over a bowl of soup!
2. Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 16th)
• On this day, I find myself deeply moved by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His words and actions remind us of the power of dreams and the strength of unity. Let’s take a moment to reflect on his message of hope and how we can embody it in our daily lives.
• Inspiring Thought: “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’” This year, I’m committed to finding small ways to make a big difference. Will you join me?

Super Bowl Sunday is February 11th, 2024. Let’s plan a get-together, celebrate our friendships, and enjoy the game (and the commercials!).
